A master’s degree that can be earned more quickly
Students majoring in business can apply to the Master of Cybersecurity program during the 2nd semester of their junior year.
The completion of six hours of 600- or 700-level COB classes taken in the senior year can count for both undergraduate and graduate degrees if accepted.
The Accelerated Master’s program would allow students to take ITC 683 after they have been admitted to the program for credit in ITC 583; ITC 660 would be given credit for ITC 560; and ITC 664 would be given credit as ITC 564.
In the end, however, only 6 hours (2 of the previously listed courses) count toward both the undergraduate and graduate degrees.
An undergraduate student must meet the following requirements before enrolling in a course that applies both to the undergraduate and graduate programs:
- Obtain acceptance to the accelerated program.
