To take admission in the Master of Science in digital forensics and cybersecurity program (D4CS), one must have a background in the computer science stream along with the ability to graduate in computer science, criminal justice, and law courses.

The individual who is applying should have a basic idea or should have studied these courses in his under graduation: Data Structures, Algorithms, Operating systems, computer networks, statistics and discrete mathematics.

The criteria for application

  • One must have a bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university with a GPA of 3.00 (B) grade or higher. 
  • The verbal and math score of the GRE should be above the median.
  • Gre analytical writing score should be 4.0 or higher
  • Applicants must have at least three recommendation letters.

When the students get sponsorship from the professor they can register for the course FCM 791and attend the prospectus seminar. All the students under the program D4CS have completed 33 credits to get eligible to graduate.

  • FCM 753- Digital Forensic Application
  • FCM 760- Forensic Management of Digital Evidence

Along with these courses, there are certain electives that a student can select according to his interest.
