MS in computer engineering with Cybersecurity track at Virginia Tech in 2023

All of us live in a digitally advanced era. It has changed the way one buys things, pays bills, rents an apartment, watches a movie, and everything that one does in his daily routine is somehow connected with the internet.

All of this is only possible because of the internet and digital media. Due to this broad use of digital media, there are many security breaches, fraud, and malicious attacks reported every day.

To prevent such internet cases, there is a need for Cybersecurity. It helps secure the data, and information from Cybercriminals, fraudsters, and hackers who want to harm someone financially or mentally.

The whole world’s dependency on the internet has become immense. This provides enough opportunities for the fraudsters to dupe the money and other crucial data from the companies or an individual’s systems.

Nowadays, it has become essential to take proper measures against cybercrimes. Big organization has a high risk of being attacked because they have actual vital data.

An average person can also be trapped easily as his complete information is connected to the internet, and it is easy enough to breach the information and steal the money.

To stop all these cybercrimes, the world needs reliable and secure cybersecurity tools that can help them to protect the data from criminals.

Virginia Tech University offers student degrees in Master of Science, Master of Engineering and Ph.D. in computer engineering with a minor in Cybersecurity.

The students pursuing the degree at Virginia Tech can have a career in software engineering, embedded system engineering, and information system management, emphasizing design, development, and analysis of security features.

Why Virginia Tech University?

Virginia tech institution is a premier institution that ranks No. 31 among the best engineering schools.

It promotes the knowledge of Cybersecurity and covers the fields of information, network and computer security systems and helps the student gain information on how to secure the systems from criminals in the most efficient way by making them experience the same world of the corporate market.
