The master’s degree in management information systems course is a forty-hour credit course consisting of five credit hour courses in Cybersecurity fundamentals, twenty-eight credit courses in Seven core subjects related to the cybersecurity field, 3 hours credit in the elective subject, and four credit hours in Capstone course and project.

Admission requirement

To get accepted into the university, the applicant requires not only a GPA score but also certain requirements to get into the MSCS program.

  • The applicant must submit at least two letters of recommendation from an employer and one personal.
  • The applicant must complete the interview process and the written approval of admission by the program director after reviewing the full application.
  • The applicant must have an undergraduate degree in a computer-related subject with a GPA score of C grade or higher.
  • The applicant should also submit his GRE score, which should be of medium level.

  • CYBR 505 – Policy Development, Compliance, Cyberlaw, and Cyber investigation
  • CYBR 510 – Network and System Security Administration
  • CYBR 520 – Systems Security Engineering
  • CYBR 525 – Secure Mobile Technology and Telecommunication
  • CYBR 530 – Secure Cloud Computing and Software Development 
  • CYBR 535 – Digital Forensic, Data Security and Data Management Systems

The students have to study the three-hour elective courses and develop a four-hour capstone project along with the subject given above to graduate and the minimum GPA requirement of 2.75 or a C grade.
